Acture Activates, ever since 2008.
Pioneer launch
Acture is founded by Maudie Derks as the first private administrator of the Sickness Benefits Act in the flexible labour sector in the Netherlands. With one conviction: work is the best form of income security.
Expansion to all sectors
The services quickly grow from the flexible labour market to a wider field of employers. Activating people is central to the approach
and results.
Innovation and scaling
Acture develops its own technology and expands with insurance solutions and occupational health services. One goal: to reintegrate faster, smarter and in a more human way.
Acceleration and internationalisation
With support from an investment partner, Acture accelerates its international ambitions and builds a consistent brand and service landscape across borders.
International expansion
through acquisitions
Acture acquires several companies in digital healthcare in Germany, including Evermood, moveUP, My7Steps and KI.M, which now continue as Acture Germany GmbH. In September 2025, the acquisition of Health Group A/S in Denmark follows, a leading player in workplace wellbeing. This step strengthens Acture’s position in Europe and opens the way to Scandinavia.
